What Is the NZeTA?

The NZeTA (New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority) is not technically a visa—but you still can’t enter the country without it. It’s quick and easy to apply online or via the app, and it’s valid for up to 2 years once approved.

1. Apply for your NZeTA at least 72 hours before your flight.

2. The cost is from NZD $17

3. Have your passport, debit/credit card, and travel details ready. I always found that people almost forgot to activate their debit/credit card from their banks before they travel. Check with your own banks on how to activate this before travelling.
